Sanju Maharjan

 Associate Researcher at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute


Sanju Maharjan is an Associate Researcher at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI). Her research examines the spatial, temporal, and modal disparity of access, with a specific emphasis on enhancing accessibility to essential destinations for individuals experiencing poverty and social marginalization. Specializing in geospatial analysis, transportation access and network analysis, as well as spatial econometric modeling, her interest in signage is rooted in the commitment to create an easier and more intuitive navigation experience in public transportation infrastructure for everyone, irrespective of their abilities and preconditions. 



Maharjan holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University, Mississippi, a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University, Texas.
