Mixed files are one of those issues people don’t believe until it happens to them. Suddenly you’re explaining why someone else’s account, address, or even criminal record is sitting on your credit report. Disputes often go nowhere because the system treats it like a minor mismatch instead of a structural failure. This is one of those situations where having attorneys who actually deal with mixed files matters, because it’s not just a typo problem. Firms that focus on consumer reporting law, like the work described at https://consumerattorneys.com/, tend to understand why these errors repeat and how to stop them from resurfacing.
