Call for Papers – Vol.4 No 1, Interdisciplinary Journal of Signage and Wayfinding

We are excited to announce the next volume of our Interdisciplinary Journal of Signage and Wayfinding is scheduled for publication in early 2020.

Articles are strongly encouraged to be submitted by Friday, October 25, 2019 for consideration in the upcoming issue.

  • Please visit our website for submission guidelines.

  • Articles from all disciplines will be considered for publication and as such, the Journal will contain both academic articles and reports prepared by practitioners.

Projected Timetable:

  • Submissions: Accepted on a rolling basis; submission by Oct 25, 2019 strongly encouraged

  • Decisions: expected mid-November 2019

  • Publication: expected January 2020​

The Interdisciplinary Journal of Signage and Wayfinding seeks to provide a forum where scholars from a variety of academic disciplines (such as urban design, planning, law, business, economics, transportation, engineering, communication, visual studies, art, architecture, landscape architecture, industrial design, and graphic design) may publish their scholarship dedicated to wayfinding and the importance of effective signage.
